From Paths for All:
We were sad to have to hit pause on our 650 Health Walks across the country. Health Walks might be a small part of the week, but the benefits spread much further – from physical and mental health wellbeing to friendships and great company.
Fresh air and being outdoors is not only positive for your physical health, but it can help to reduce stress and anxiety whilst boosting your mood. We encourage everyone to continue to enjoy short, local walks where it is safe and appropriate to do so.
If you are not able to go outside for a walk, then there are a number of ways you can keep moving at home, check our website for inspiration – www.pathsforall.org.uk/active-at-home
We very much look forward to welcoming everyone back to Health Walks whenever it is safe to do so, but in the meantime have a go at our 30 day challenge to keep moving! Share this with anyone you think would be up for the challenge.
