Cooking during lockdown has made me pay much more attention to food waste in my own home. It’s something I’ve always tried to prevent as much as possible but now I find myself delving into the deepest corners of my cupboards, using up what I have and becoming much more inventive about the recipes I concoct. If you’re struggling for inspiration this week, take a look at some of these store cupboard gems or post your own #lowwasteliving recipes for others to see! #nofoodwaste #stopfoodwaste #wastenot #stayhome #staysafe #keepcooking
STAY ACTIVE: Look after your mental and physical wellbeing by going out for a walk, cycle or run once a day on your own or with family who live with you.
STAY SAFE: Keep at least 2m away from other people whilst enjoying the outdoors. If you or someone in your family is experiencing symptoms stay at home or limit exercise to your garden or living room.
KEEP IT LOCAL: Exercise close to home or within walking, running and biking distance of your house.
