The Braveheart Association offer weekly health walks at various locations across Falkirk. Please check out our Weekly Walk card below.
Do you want to be more active, make new friendships and enjoy the outdoors?
Our friendly and welcoming weekly walks promote social inclusion within the community, encourage the use of green spaces, and raise awareness of active travel in your local area.
Safe walking, safe living
Safety is a leading barrier in being safe outdoors, where inactivity is one of the 10 causes of death (World Health Organisation), Braveheart walks allow individuals to be part of a social group, enabling everyone to feel safe and supported.
Full trained Walk Leaders
Our Leaders have expert local knowledge of the surrounding area, and guide our walks throughout Forth Valley. They are full of local knowledge and information, and have great enthusiasm for walking outdoors.
Activities for all abilities
Our Walks support anyone looking to be more socially and physically active within their community. We also support those living with long-term conditions, sight and hearing loss.
Our weekly walks offer various options – 30 mins slow-paced walk, 45-mins medium-paced, and 1 hour brisk-paced walk. Our ‘Away-day’ walks take place a couple of times per year, venture further afield and likely last around 1.5 hours.
