Supporting healthier lives across the Forth Valley

The Braveheart Association is a health and wellbeing charity supporting people across the Forth Valley to live healthier, more active and fulfilling lives.

Through our Walk with Braveheart, Living Well and Top Toes Footcare programmes, we provide opportunities to improve health and wellbeing, build confidence, stay active and connect with others in the community.

 

The Braveheart Association supports people to live healthier lives across Forth Valley through our 3 main service provisions:

🚶 Walk with Braveheart

Friendly walks. New friendships. A healthier you.

Our free, friendly health walks help people become more physically and socially active in their local community.

With walks available at different speeds and durations, there is an option for a wide range of abilities.

Braveheart’s current walking programme describes 30-minute, 45-minute and one-hour options, as well as longer away-day walks.

Living Well Programme

Small steps towards feeling better.

Our Living Well programme provides activities, support and opportunities to help people improve their health, wellbeing and confidence.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to stay active, meet others and feel connected within their community.

🦶 Top Toes Footcare

Helping you stay comfortable, active and independent.

Top Toes provides volunteer-led footcare services within communities across the Forth Valley.

Our trained volunteers help people look after their feet and support them to maintain their independence.

Braveheart is operated by a board of trustees, and is run by a small staff group.  Our administrative office is located at the Falkirk Community Hospital, and our activities and Top Toes clinics take place at the hub and within the community across Forth Valley.

As a small team, we rely very much on the help and support of our volunteers – they are at the core of everything we do at Braveheart!  If you want to find out more, get in touch by email, or just pop into our Braveheart Connections hub in the Howgate shopping centre.
