Fantastic turn out today on Braveheart’s February Monthly walk to the Falkirk Wheel & and along the Canal. 46 walkers all enjoyed their short or long walk taking in views over Falkirk and the Forth & Clyde Canal. We were joined by 4 visually impaired walkers and guide dog Piper on our walk today, where we then all enjoyed refreshments at the S.C after our walk.
Today’s walk was in memory of our walker Jessie Gibson who suddenly passed away last week. Jessie would have been 86 this year and has been a keen and fit walker with Braveheart for many years, she brought laughter and happiness to our walks and will be greatly missed. Thoughts are with all Jessie’s family & friends.
